About the role

Legacy Church seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Middle School Teacher at Legacy Academy. With an exponentially growing enrollment due to changes in the public school system, we are in need of educators in science, math, and middle school.

Responsibilities

• Use your education and imagination to enrich the curriculum and education experience of your students.
• Construct a plan that meets Legacy Academy standards goals and objectives.
• Communicate assignments and objectives to students using clear and precise language.
• Track and assess student progress and communicate that to students, parents, and administration.
• Evaluate specific student needs and collaborate with colleagues, students, parents, and administration.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Create an effective and safe learning environment.
• Engage the imagination to learn and be creative while enthusiastically participating in school activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or higher.
• Ability to meet state and federal requirements, including background check and fingerprinting.
• CPR/Basic First Aid card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
