Middle School Teacher

About the role
This position is responsible for a middle school homeroom and teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English/Language Arts. The teacher will plan and implement lessons based on the prescribed curriculum while helping students better understand and grow in their Catholic faith.
- Lead daily homeroom activities and serve as primary contact for families in the assigned homeroom.
- Monitor students' development, provide feedback to students and parents on a regular basis, and issue report cards.
- Collaborate with the team of middle-school teachers and actively participate in faculty meetings and school events (including some outside of normal school hours).
- Ensure compliance with school policies and professional standards, and engage in professional growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Up-to-date clearances.
- Teaching certificate strongly preferred.
