About the Role
Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in general and special education settings while collaborating with classroom teachers to promote academic achievement, social-emotional development, and a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver small-group and one-on-one instruction to reinforce classroom lessons in reading, writing, mathematics, and other core subjects.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement differentiated instruction and accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and intervention strategies as directed.
- Monitor student progress, document academic and behavioral performance, and communicate observations with teachers and support staff.
- Assist in implementing classroom management strategies and promote positive student behavior.
- Prepare instructional materials, learning activities, and classroom resources to support daily instruction.
- Supervise students during classroom transitions, lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and school activities.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and independence.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, specialists, and families regarding student progress when appropriate.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives to support student success.

Pay
Competitive salary range: $29,000 – $38,500 per year.
