About the role
Assess, design, implement and evaluate instructional programs, and facilitate post-discharge placement for hospitalized children and youths in order to fulfill Children's annual school services contract with OSPI and Seattle School District.
Responsibilities

- Deliver superior patient care, advance new discoveries and treatments through pediatric research, and serve as the pediatric and adolescent, academic medical center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year teaching experience in public or independent school setting.
- Current WA State Teaching Certificate.
- Prior to the start of employment, individuals are required to submit a copy of a receipt directly to Human Resources (electronically) confirming they have completed the fingerprinting process as outlined by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
Qualifications
- Preferred Experience working as school counselor.
- Experience working in a mental health setting.
- Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Special education endorsement with experience teaching in a special education setting.
- Three years teaching experience.
- Familiarity with special education practices and state and federal regulations for this population of students.

$107,431.00 - $161,147.00 per year
