About the role
Middletown Township Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Special Education Math and Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach math and science courses to students with special educational needs.
- Implement best practices for creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Collect and analyze data to document student progress and tailor instruction.
- Integrate technology to support effective teaching and learning.
- Adhere to Least Restrictive Environment regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Secondary Instructional Certification in Math and Science or STEM, or Elementary Teacher (K-8) with Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification.
- Knowledge and evidence of implementing best practices for supporting an inclusive environment.
- High-level skills in data collection and anecdotal notes.
- Experience with Google for Education.
- Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) in core subject areas.

Salary range: $60,673 - $122,533
