About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and align curriculum with state standards.
- Participate in departmental, school, and parent meetings as required.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan teaching certification or eligibility for alternative certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (required).
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a classroom or similar setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
