About the role

We are seeking passionate educators to fill various teaching and administrative positions across Michigan K-12 schools. These roles support alternative certification pathways, helping professionals transition into education to address critical staffing needs in our schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned subject areas and grade levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Participate in professional development and alternative certification training programs.
• Fulfill all duties required for Michigan teacher certification, including mentorship and evaluation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Commitment to pursuing Michigan teacher certification through an alternative route.
• Strong subject-matter expertise in the area you intend to teach.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Willingness to complete required training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience or relevant professional experience in the subject area is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and communities.
• Familiarity with Michigan educational standards and curriculum frameworks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
