About the role
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree teacher certified in Middle School Science Education is sought.
Responsibilities
- Teach Middle School Science curriculum aligned with EOC/LEAP 2025, ACT/SAT prep, and Louisiana State Standards.
- Support middle school students in a school setting for at least 2 years.
- Engage in STEM instruction, Design Thinking, and Project-Based Learning.
- Be prepared to lead one or more extracurricular clubs or sports after school hours.
Requirements
- Desirable: Degrees/Certifications in Special Education, Gifted Instruction, Curriculum and Instruction, ESL, and/or Reading Specialist certification.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching middle school students in a school setting.
- Knowledge of STEM instruction, Design Thinking, and Project-Based Learning.
Skills
- Ability to support extracurricular activities.
Benefits
