Middle School Mathematics Teacher (part-time)

Valley Catholic Middle School seeks an enthusiastic and collaborative educator to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year.

About the role

• One section of 6th Grade Math
• One section of 7th Grade Math
• One section of 8th Grade Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, or Geometry - TBD)

This position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys helping students become confident and capable mathematical thinkers.

Schedule

At 60% FTE, the regular hours for this position are 7:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Pay

Salary Range: $27,238–$38,761 (0.60 FTE), plus benefits, depending on education and experience. The corresponding full-time (1.0 FTE) salary range is $45,397–$64,602, based on degree and placement on the salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Teaching License (or ability to obtain one)
• Appropriate endorsement in Mathematics
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
