Key Responsibilities
- Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks.
- Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
- Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong mathematical foundations.
Collaboration & Professional Development
- Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and instructional leaders to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.
Scholar Culture & Support
- Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support positive student behavior.
- Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes accountability and success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area.
Additionally, Candidates Must Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, demonstrate commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities, show strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction, and demonstrate collaboration, initiative, and adaptability in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $44,770. – $50,550. (DOE)
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
