Middle School Math Teacher

About the Role

A Middle School Math Teacher will deliver engaging instruction on foundational math concepts using a CCSS-based curriculum and culturally responsive activities.

Responsibilities

• Foster student confidence and critical thinking through varied instructional strategies.
• Analyze student work and assessment data weekly to differentiate instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students and families to support learning and well-being.
• Participate in professional development, mentorship, and team collaboration to set academic goals and share best practices.

Qualifications

• Commitment to supporting students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Experience or interest in impacting students in urban communities (1-2 years preferred).
• Strong academic background in Mathematics or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree required; certification not mandatory but eligibility for NY certification is necessary.
• Self-directed learner willing to seek and apply feedback.
