The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a full-time teacher for Sylvan Middle School.
About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach core academic subjects to students in grades 6-8
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards
- Maintain classroom management and student behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance educational programs
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing background check
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience working with middle school students
- Knowledge of current educational methodologies and technologies

Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 - $126,000 annually
