Job Responsibilities
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
- Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request
- Establishes a standard of classroom behavior and maintains classroom management in and outside of the school
- Confer with parents, administrators, specialists, and appropriate resource staff to develop educational programs for students
- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law and district regulations
- Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies, assessments, activities, materials, and technology that reflect accommodations for the individual needs of students
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Valid Teaching License
- Experience in an urban school preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
