Middle School Math Interventionist

About the role

The RSU #3 is seeking a Mathematics Interventionist at Mount View Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Work with general education students who have gaps in their learning.
• Positively connect with students to help motivate them to work on improving their math skills.
• Have a strong background in math instruction.
• Experience in using assessment data to target instruction.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Requirements

• Maine State Certification as 020 K-8 Teacher or 300M Mathematics 5-8.
• Would consider 300S Mathematics 7-12 for the right candidate.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level and/or subject is a plus.
