Middle School Japanese Teacher

Navigator College is seeking experienced Middle/Senior School Teachers for fixed term part-time or full-time contract positions, commencing Term 1 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach Middle/Senior School subjects aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver integrated learning experiences.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Teaching qualification from an approved institution.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at Middle/Senior School level.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of Lutheran educational principles and practices.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
