Middle School History & English Teacher (Parental Leave Coverage)

About the role

This position covers a middle school English and history educator for a full-time parental leave from September through November of the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach one section of 6th grade English
• Teach one section of 7th grade United States history
• Teach one section of 8th grade Quest for Culture
• Serve as a student advisor

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master's degree is preferred
• Familiarity with classroom uses of technology is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively

Pay

Annualized salary for faculty is determined according to a step scale commensurate with years of teaching experience (base annualized salary range is $64,960 - $100,000+) and will be prorated for the length of the leave cover.

Schedule

Full-time coverage from September through November of the 2026–2027 school year.
