Middle School Flag Football Coach
Position Summary
The Flag Football Coach is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Flag Football Program, working closely with the Dean of Athletics to ensure a positive, competitive, and inclusive environment for student-athletes. This role includes developing training programs, mentoring athletes, coordinating with the athletics staff, and representing the program in alignment with Dawson’s Core Values at school and throughout the broader community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the sport, and a commitment to student-athlete development. The Coach will collaborate with the Dean of Athletics to align the program’s goals with institutional objectives and provide a strategic direction for the team.

Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Previous coaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to connect with and motivate students, fostering a love for the sport and teamwork.
- Knowledge of the developmental needs of young athletes and the ability to create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Must pass annual background checks.
- First Aid & CPR Certification is required (certification can be obtained after hiring if not currently held).
