About the role
The Middle School ELAR Teacher at Reagan County ISD will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts and Reading to students in grades 6-8.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units
- Participate in professional development activities
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Texas teaching certificate in Professional/Certified - Secondary - English
- At least two years of successful teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators
- Passion for teaching English Language Arts and Reading

Pay
- Starting salary range: $42,000 - $58,500 based on experience
