Middle School Computer Teacher
Position Description
The Teacher plans, organizes, and implements instructional programs in a learning environment that guides, inspires, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Primary Functions
- Instructional: Manage classroom environment to promote student development.
- Facilitate student learning and communicate progress.
- Provide direct instruction and monitor student progress.
- Align curriculum and stay current with teaching methodologies.
- Provide students with frequent and accurate behavioral and academic feedback.
- Identify students who are academically at risk and execute effective intervention strategies.
- Consistently use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
- Supervisory Functions: Supervise support teachers, interns, and teacher aides as requested.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Attend parent/teacher conferences and staff meetings.
- Supervise field trips, school clubs, and activities.
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and confidentiality of student information.
