The Role
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
- Organizing practices and games
- Making sure student athletes keep up with their studies
- Providing an introduction to the program for all student athletes
- Talking to coaches and the athletic director about how student athletes are doing
- Being there for the team, even after practice ends
- Gathering important documents like medical records
The Person
We're looking for staff with a variety of backgrounds, talents, and ideas. Some key traits for our most successful employees include:

MUST HAVES
- Up to 3 years of coaching experience
- Knowledge of the specific sport, including its rules and terminology
- A valid certification for CPR and AED use from a nationally recognized organization, or willingness to complete a district-required training within a given timeframe
NICE TO HAVES
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Continued education in the specific sport
- Experience coaching the specific sport
- Experience working with children
