About the role

Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is seeking a Middle School Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. The position involves supporting the head coach in all aspects of basketball operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game planning and strategy development
• Help manage team logistics including scheduling, travel arrangements, and equipment maintenance
• Support the head coach in recruiting and player development
• Work closely with the administration to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Experience coaching girls basketball at the middle school level
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for education and sports

Skills

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
