About the role
Aon is seeking a Mid-Market Production Account Executive for the South region in North America. This role offers the opportunity to join a growth-oriented team and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise, identifies client needs, and develops a customized approach for a portfolio of mid-market client accounts.
- Demonstrates new business production abilities, focusing on commercial accounts and broader solutions.
- Ensures overall account profitability with a value-based approach, managing the renewal process and assembling the appropriate team.
- Manages client service team understanding of client needs, service delivery methods, and the economic framework relevant to services delivered.
- Educates clients on trends, market issues, and relevant data and analytics.
- Maintains relationships with Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances, such as large claims.
- Involves colleagues across geographic, solution lines, and functional units to define interdependent responses to business opportunities.
Requirements
- 7 - 10+ years of experience in leading client relationships and/or selling Risk Management Solutions products or related products.
- Ability to build relationships and advise economic buyers for mid-market accounts.
- Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to influence decision-makers, particularly C-Suite executives.
- Excellent client management skills, capable of managing an existing book and generating new business.
- Fosters critical relationships between Aon colleagues, clients, and external payors/insurers.
- Able to articulate and execute a strong value proposition, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organized, interpersonal, and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
- Possesses strong technical proficiency and critical thinking skills.
- Proven expertise and focus within a specific industry segment, with a proven history of serving clients in that area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Critical thinking and clear expression of thoughts and concepts.
- Excellent digital literacy.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Schedule
This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
