Middle Eastern Language Instructor

About the role

We are looking to expand our language offerings and are hiring a Middle Eastern Language Instructor for small group or private classes of all levels for adults. This is a part-time position for 5 hours per week, with potential for more based on student demand.

Responsibilities

• Teach Arabic and/or Farsi/Persian to adults in both group and 1:1 settings
• Design language curricula independently
• Engage students of all proficiency levels effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Arabic or Farsi Language and Literature, or a related field
• Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and/or Farsi at a native level
• At least 5 years’ experience teaching Arabic and/or Farsi to adults
• Experience working in multicultural settings and with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field
• Ability or interest in teaching additional languages

Schedule

Part-time, 5 hours per week (potential for more based on student demand). Flexible schedule required.
