Mid Warehouse Checker-Picker

The Opportunity

We’re now hiring a Mid Shift Warehouse Picker to pick pallets from all the less than full pallet quantities on orders. To create pallet sizes that make sense, are good looking and loadable.

Essential Duties

• Picking SO# in Cedar Bay
• Locate, pick and fill pick locations
• Inspect products for anything out of conformance
• Making nice neat loadable pallets
• Checking products to be loaded or unloaded against paperwork
• Continually checking dates on orders to assure we are meeting load dates
• Driving forklift, Product identification, general house cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to operate forklift and push pulls
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Very good knowledge of all products stored in warehouse
• General mathematical and computer skills (cedar bay is a plus)
• Ensure that company policy is followed
• Attend safety trainings
• Follow all safety instructions and policies
• Report any injuries or near miss accidents to supervisor
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor
• Wear required PPE, including Bump Cap and hearing protection
