Mid to High Level Residential Loss Control Inspector

About the role

This is a CONTRACT position (1099). Signature Companies is seeking experienced Residential Insurance Inspectors to perform interior and high-value dwelling inspections.

Responsibilities

• Visit property owners in your area to perform inspections
• Take photos and measurements during visits
• Make notes of issues to bring to underwriter's attention
• Complete and submit reports online after each visit
• Ensure reports are submitted within 21 days
• Work independently and manage your own schedule

Requirements

• At least two years of comparable experience, such as a home inspector
• Reliable transportation
• Digital camera
• High-speed internet access
• Measuring wheel or similar device
• Good organization skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft products
• Current resume

Qualifications

• Prior underwriting experience preferred
• Prior inspection experience on residential homes
• Loss control experience preferred
• Construction experience preferred
• Computer competencies in Windows and internet environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
• CPCU or IIA certification preferred

Skills

• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and computers
• Late model car

Benefits

Contractor fees are paid monthly. Background investigation including a criminal record check and possible drug screen may be required.
