About the role
This is a remote position. Must currently be or have been a mid or senior-level residential inspector. This is a CONTRACT position (1099).
Responsibilities
- Visit property owners in your area to perform interior insurance inspections and high-value dwelling inspections.
- Offer your professional services to Signature Companies and are paid by the completed report.
- Visit properties, take photos and measurements, and make note of issues that should be brought to the underwriter’s attention.
- Complete and submit your report online after the visit.
- Ensure all inspections are completed in less than 21 days, but you make your own schedule.
Requirements
- Prior underwriting experience preferred
- Prior inspection experience on residential homes
- Loss control experience preferred
- Construction experience preferred
- Computer competencies in Windows and internet environment required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
- CPCU or IIA preferred
- Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer
- Late model car
