Mid - Systems Administrator - w/ active Secret

Primary Roles And Responsibilities

• Cook up operational designs, formulate support plans, orchestrate implementations, and offer second-tier support for Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions across diverse platforms.
• Develop system support requirements by scrutinizing and interpreting customer business procedures and appraising available Enterprise Services (ES) and vendor competencies.
• Support project teams in executing new or updated designs and harmonize project endeavors with support groups.
• Create plans that facilitate the implementation of modifications.
• Engage in system support design and performance evaluation reviews.
• Advise on distributed network computing issues.
• Maintain security and integrity standards and controls.
• Assist in the evaluation, testing, and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations according to customer needs.
• Coach others in the application of new operational support technologies.
• Analyze user requirements and statistical data to discern patterns and address performance issues.
• Coordinate and approve updates to the site administration documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging operational support technologies and industry trends.
• Recommend cost-effective and performance-improving opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

• A US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise LAN, WAN, and/or Base Area Network (BAN) environments.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
• IAT Level II certification as an Information Assurance Technician and possession of an Operating System (OS)/Application Certification.
• Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A successful background investigation (BI) and fingerprinting by the federal agency are also required to qualify for the position.

Critical Solutions Pay And Benefits

• Salary range: $88,000 - $114,000.
• Compensation is based on multiple factors including job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, and other requirements.
