Mid Shift Yard Worker (Full-Time)

Job Summary

At SCA, we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and organization around our facility, performing light maintenance duties, and maintaining the cleanliness of the fleet of vehicles. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.

Key Responsibilities

• Light maintenance duties such as washing and cleaning both the exterior and interior of the fleet.
• Cleaning the exterior of the parking lot of the site location.
• Transporting parts as needed.
• Able to operate a pick-up truck safely.
• Able to assist shop mechanics when needed.
• Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.

Requirements/Skills

• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests.
• Able to operate a pick-up truck safely.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
• Able to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
• Valid Driver's License - CDL is a plus but not required.
