About the role

This is a hands-on, active position where you’ll support your assigned hospital with critical medical waste services. You’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation
  • Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients
  • Lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day
  • Maintain inventory of containers and ensure all areas are stocked and organized
  • Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team
  • Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service
  • Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic

Requirements

  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role

Pay

$20–$22 per hour (set rate)

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM, with overtime opportunities
