Mid/Senior Database Administrator (DBA)
About the role
Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Data Team. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and enhance complex cloud systems based on documented requirements. They will work closely with a specific mission using Oracle databases.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex cloud systems based on documented requirements
- Work with a specific mission using Oracle databases
- Develop, engineer, and optimize cloud-based solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Two (2) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies
- Experience with Python required
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (i.e. Docker) and orchestration tools (i.e. Kubernetes, Helm)
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree for a total of ten (10) years of experience
Qualifications
- One or more of the following shall be obtained within 6 months of hire:
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Pay
Salary Range: $175,000.00 to $220,000.00
