Responsibilities
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities including security control implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and analysis using tools such as ACAS/Nessus; track remediation through POA&Ms.
- Apply and validate DISA STIG hardening across applications, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain security documentation supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages.
- Coincide with development teams to integrate security requirements into design and delivery.
- Monitor security posture and report findings, risks, and metrics to program and Government stakeholders.
- Support incident response, audit, and inspection activities as required.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
- 4+ years of information security or information assurance experience.
- Working knowledge of RMF and NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and STIG compliance tools.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Desired Experience
- With eMASS, Xacta, or similar A&A management tools.
- Familiarity with container and cloud security practices.
- Experience operating within SAFe or Agile delivery frameworks.
Pay
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is $63,300-$129,700
