We are seeking a Mid-Level Water Engineer to join our Holladay, UT office. In this role, you’ll work closely with design teams and discipline experts to deliver quality engineering projects, focusing on challenging water treatment design projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, evaluation, and design development for water treatment infrastructure needs, potentially working on multiple assignments simultaneously. You’ll also coordinate activities across multiple disciplines and collaborate with other subject matter experts and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, evaluate, and develop designs for water treatment infrastructure projects.
  • Work on multiple assignments simultaneously, coordinating across disciplines.
  • Collaborate with design teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop drawings, specifications, and computer models.
  • Write engineering technical reports and presentations.
  • Deliver high-quality work with attention to detail and client service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience in water-related disciplines (e.g., water treatment, water resources, drinking water, wastewater, and sewer).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience or working knowledge of Bluebeam, Autodesk, and/or Bentley CAD platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Design and/or project management experience.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $160,800.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
