Mid-Level Water Engineer

About the role

Your role will focus on planning, evaluation, and design development for water treatment infrastructure needs and projects, potentially working on multiple assignments simultaneously. Additionally, you’ll coordinate your activities across multiple disciplines and collaborate closely with other subject matter experts and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with design teams and discipline experts to deliver quality engineering projects.
  • Develop drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling.
  • Write engineering technical reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of engineering experience in water related disciplines (water treatment, water resources, drinking water; wastewater and sewer; etc.).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience developing drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling.
  • Experience writing engineering technical reports and presentations.
  • Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience or working knowledge with Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks.
  • Attention to detail, quality delivery, and client service.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Design and/or project management experience.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $78,600.00 to $142,750.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
