Serco is seeking a Mid-Level Visitor Control Support Specialist to provide visitor control and security support to a Department of Defense customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission.
About the role
In this role, you will support visitor access management, facility security activities, security documentation, and administrative security functions within a fast-paced government environment. You will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, government personnel, and contractors while ensuring compliance with established security procedures and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support visitor control activities, including visitor processing, documentation, access coordination, and recordkeeping.
- Assist with maintaining visitor logs, access rosters, visit requests, and related security documentation.
- Coordinate with government, contractor, and visitor personnel to support timely and accurate access processing.
- Support physical and facility security procedures associated with visitor management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure visitor control actions are completed in accordance with customer expectations.
- Provide professional front-line customer support while handling sensitive information and recurring security actions.
- Transmit Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral visit certifications for F-35 JPO personnel.
- Issue, maintain, distribute, track, and inventory F-35 JPO visitor badges.
- Support personnel and process incoming and outgoing visit requests.
- Create and process country clearance requests through approved visitor management systems.
- Monitor and control incoming and outgoing U.S. Government property.
- Collect, maintain, and close foreign travel reports.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience supporting visitor control, access control, facility security, administrative security, or related mission support functions.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, including within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), as required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a secure facility.
- Prior experience working in a security countermeasures environment.
- Current and active Secret Security Clearance.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) access or eligibility.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense security operations and visitor management programs.
- Experience handling sensitive or classified information in a secure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Additional Information
This position is onsite in Arlington, Virginia. Work will be performed in a secure government environment. Up to 10% travel may be required in support of mission requirements.
