Mid- Level Technical Program Manager
About the role
Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Technical Program Manager to support an innovative program. The role involves providing technical program management and execution support for advanced defense research initiatives focused on cutting-edge sensing, tracking, and signal processing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep technical expertise and program management experience to support research performers, evaluate technical progress, prepare technical documentation, and assist with program planning and execution.
- Work closely with government, industry, and academic stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, white papers, presentations, and executive-level briefings to senior government leaders.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to maintain clear understanding and expectations.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a related technical field.
- Demonstrated program and/or project management experience supporting complex technical initiatives.
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical reports, white papers, presentations, and executive-level briefings.
- Technical background in signal processing and one or more of the following areas:
- Track-before-detect algorithms
- Synthetic tracking
- Velocity-space search
- Estimation and multi-target tracking
- Infrared Search and Track (IRST)
- Multi-frame integration
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance required.

- Advanced signal processing methods such as track-before-detect algorithms, synthetic tracking, velocity-space search, estimation and multi-target tracking, infrared search and track (IRST), and multi-frame integration.

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - $175,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
Schedule
Part-time travel: Less than 10%
