Mid-level System Administrator (C4S RA) (Evening/Night Shift)

Our team in Chesapeake, VA has an immediate need for a mid‑level Remote Sys Administrator with demonstrated experience providing general infrastructure support, including responding to and updating trouble calls; performing break‑fix troubleshooting and analysis of problems; and performing repair activities to return equipment, systems or networks to normal operational status. This is not a remote or work‑from‑home position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct troubleshooting and perform break/fix activities on shipboard IT networks using a satellite connection to connect, login, and conduct work
• Coordinate remote support needed with StratasCorp Technician help desk and Remote Administration team, as well as shipboard crew, to ensure work performed is in line with contract priorities
• Gather data as needed and provide to StratasCorp teams to respond to data calls
• Prepare and provide daily work reports

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Security+ or higher certification (IAT Level II), such as CompTIA CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, or higher

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000 annually.

Schedule

Position is based in Chesapeake, VA; employees are expected to work on‑site daily during the agreed‑upon shift and must be available for evening or night shifts.
