About the role
The Mid-Level Program Analyst supports the Office of Research and Technology Applications (ORTA) Team at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. They provide support for NGA Research's mission to lead GEOINT research and ensure the successful transition of innovative concepts and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supports the day-to-day coordination and data management for NGA Research’s activities.
- Assists in R&D program planning, budget formulation, acquisition assistance, and financial management of RDT&E and O&M funds.
- Supports the PPE team, Technical Offices, and Pods in programmatic and financial matters for ongoing and new initiatives, projects, and procurements.
- Develops and implements effective knowledge management strategies.
- Manages R&D program development from concept inception to transition of technologies.
- Manages cost, schedule, and performance aspects of R&D programs.
- Writes, edits, and distributes content for internal and external communications, including publications, public releases, website content, and annual reports.
- Writes, reviews, and edits R&D statements of work (SOWs), contracts, agreements, and other program documentation.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of strategic business partnerships.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property, Export Control/ITAR, TRLs, and security classification.
- Experience or education in R&D program development from concept inception to transition of technologies.
- Experience or education in program management.
- MBA with concentration in Technology Management.
- Prior or current experience working with a research and development organization or government agency.
