Mid-Level Maintenance Controller (Service Technician)

Position Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers
  • Applies technical knowledge to research, develop, test and evaluate operations, support programs, modifications, repairs and technical data
  • Communicates design and operational issues and concerns with Engineering
  • Develops in-service correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Participates in accident investigation team or support team
  • Conduct investigations and research on Logistics, Test Status, Operational Problems, Weather Conditions and Direct IT issues to drive a successful conclusion
  • Provide accurate maintenance estimates for Flight Test FC and other aircraft maintenance tasks that include Work Order description, required Parts, Special Tools and Ground Support Equipment
  • Input and maintain the TOC database, create Service Request Task Items, Track Test Aircraft In-flight, identify issues for Management Escalation, create and update PowerPoint presentations and lead management status meetings
  • Function in a dynamic environment and provide clear and succinct recommendations to management
  • Aid logistic support or remote aircraft operations

Basic Qualifications

  • The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.62 is required.
  • 1+ years of education and/or experience with aircraft maintenance
  • 1+ years of flight line experience
  • Experience cultivating excellent customer and/or external stakeholder relationships
  • Experience doing direct, face-to-face interactions with customers
  • Experience interpreting data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management
  • Experience editing PowerPoint presentations as needed, as well as adding and presenting data
  • Willingness to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of flight test experience
  • Experience with the DWR system
  • Experience with Engineering Furnished and Red Label parts
  • Experience organizing and planning logistics support for remote aircraft operations
  • Have or have held an Airframe and Power Plants (A&P) License
