About the role

The Retail Web Technology (RWT) organization leads the development and maintenance of Schwab's Digital self-service platform for retail clients. The team is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack .NET Developer who embraces being a technical leader and has a passion for using state-of-the-art web technologies to build compelling interactive web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web applications
  • Develops and maintains robust and secure web applications using advanced development technologies
  • Collaborates with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality
  • Ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices, and participates in code reviews
  • Contributes to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance to junior developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven technical and business communication skills
  • Experience with C#/.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript, and client-side MV* frameworks
  • Familiarity with responsive design, single-page applications (SPAs), unit testing, and performance evaluation
  • Knowledge of authorization frameworks and Agile software development principles
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of full-stack web development experience, with an emphasis on front-end development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

Skills

  • Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful services
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards
  • Experience with scripting languages and AI tools
