Mid-Level Contracts Specialist
Responsibilities
- Review acquisition packages for completeness; identify and help resolve gaps.
- Support development of solicitations (SIRs, RFQs, RFPs) and public postings.
- Conduct market research; assist with SOWs, IGCEs, and evaluation criteria.
- Support price/cost analysis and fair and reasonable determinations.
- Process contract modifications, funding actions, and option exercises; track performance.
- Review invoices and maintain funding and modification logs.
- Maintain PRISM, FPDS, and Delphi data; ensure audit-ready contract files.
- Support CPARS and contract closeout activities.
- Support evaluations and acquisition activities under senior guidance.
Requirements
- Qualifications: At least 2 years of federal contracting experience with documented understanding of FAA or other federal acquisition policies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Certification: Level 1 Contracts Certification (FAC-C or DAWIA).
- Skills: Proficiency with PRISM, FPDS, and Delphi.
- Experience: Strong ability to conduct price/cost analysis, prepare solicitation and award documentation, manage modifications, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
