Mid-Level Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production services at scale
• Develop new features for internal and external customers
• Debug production issues across services and multiple stack levels
• Develop integrations with external services and partners
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Release a rapidly growing API while ensuring backward compatibility
• Build services with efficient auto-scaling for varied loads
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Backend role
• Experience with modern web application development and relational databases
• Known for writing clean, well-tested, and modular code
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures
