Mid-Level Auto Painter - San Antonio - 2nd shift - $4,000 sign on bonus

About the role

We’re looking for Auto Painters with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As a Mid‑Level Painter you will match/mix paint color and use water‑based paint to paint the vehicle inside our paint booths.

Responsibilities

• Match and mix paint colors according to specifications.
• Apply water‑based paint to vehicles inside paint booths.
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and buffing as needed.
• Maintain state‑of‑the‑art tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, using face shields, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective gear.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license (subject to Motor Vehicle Records check).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment and tolerate extreme weather conditions.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
