About the role

Step five of the Apprentice's training focuses on pole mounted apparatuses (other than transformers). During this step, the Apprentice will be permitted to work on energized primary and secondary circuits under direct supervision of a Lineman or Foreman. Supervision may occur either from the same physical location or from the ground, provided that effective communication is maintained.
