MID Intelligence Management Specialist (Spanish)
Job Responsibilities
- Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist Foreign Liaison officers responsible for leading and managing intelligence security cooperation efforts on behalf of the NORAD J2.
- Specialist responsibilities would include language translation support, review of documents, assisting with responses to staff requests, preparing correspondence and other documents, support to Key Leader Engagements, and performing other duties in support of NORAD J2 Intelligence Security Cooperation efforts.
- Incumbent is responsible for correct format, grammatical structure, punctuation, clarity of expression, word usage and maintenance of the concept and intent of the original text.
- Completed work is not expected to require extensive editorial correction as incumbent is expected to review and revise work on completion of translation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Able to pass translation test from Spanish into English at interagency language roundtable (ILR) level 3 or higher.
- Experience in working with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Officers in working to get products released to a wider audience than originally intended.
- Experience researching and writing intelligence reports.
- Experience supporting multinational customers.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.

- Experience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly-collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
