About the role
This is your chance to join our team — help us to design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the world! We are seeking a qualified Senior Construction Manager to support the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Regions.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain client relationships through development, marketing, contract and task management
- Mentor and manage CMI personnel and build high-performing teams
- Apply construction partnering expertise to deliver successful outcomes
- Prepare and deliver oral presentations for client interviews (in-person and virtual)
- Develop technical and task proposals and construction progress reports for status reporting and invoicing
- Conduct construction schedule reviews and produce reports
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
- Use Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
- Provide construction management services for Mid-Atlantic Regional clients including:
- Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
- Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC)
- Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT)
- Maryland Transportation Authority
- MDOT Maryland State Highway Administration
- Local Counties and Municipalities throughout the region
- Use construction management software including familiarity with:
- PennDOT ECMS & RMSOracle
- Unifier & Primavera P6 Scheduling Software
- MDOT & MDTA eMCMS
- Other related construction management software
Physical Requirements (Essential Functions)
- Walking and navigating across rough or uneven terrain such as mud, rocks, grass, dirt, steep hillsides, heavily wooded areas, and other unpaved surfaces
- Moving around active project sites, which may involve climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, or poles
- Performing physical activities such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing
- Remaining in a stationary position—either standing or sitting—for extended periods of time
- Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and/or carting objects up to 50 lbs distances up to 50 yards
- Driving to and from project sites which may involve distances of up to or exceeding 75 miles round trip
- Functioning safely in environments with potential risks and exposure to high and low temperatures, precipitation, outdoor elements, noise, confined/enclosed spaces
- Willingness to work nights and overtime, when required by the project assignment
Requirements
- 15+ years as a Construction Manager on both small and large construction projects
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSCE preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) (both preferred)
- Construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6 and PSP certified (both preferred)

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $125,000.00 – $205,000.00 per year. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
