What Impact You'll Have
We are seeking a Mid-Level Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) Analyst to support mission-critical intelligence operations through the integration of imagery, multi-INT data, advanced analytics, and data-driven tradecraft. The ideal candidate brings strong GEOINT and imagery analysis expertise, experience working with diverse intelligence datasets, and the ability to translate complex information into timely and actionable intelligence. This role will contribute to modernizing analytic workflows, developing repeatable methodologies, and delivering insights that directly support intelligence questions and operational decision-making.
What You'll Be Owning
- Analyze a broad range of imagery—including electro-optical (EO), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), infrared (IR), and other collection types—to produce timely, accurate intelligence across diverse mission sets.
- Conduct analytic tasks ranging from data organization and exploitation to probabilistic judgment and assessment, applying structured methodologies to increase the precision, consistency, and depth of intelligence analysis.
- Research and integrate unique data sources, reporting, and feature-level information to develop a deeper understanding of mission-specific issues and answer key intelligence questions.
- Conduct multi-INT research and combine analytic tools, data, and visualization techniques to accelerate data-driven analysis and improve the effectiveness of intelligence production.
- Contribute to the modernization of analytic processes by mining data, developing and maintaining structured databases, and identifying opportunities to improve existing methodologies and workflows.
- Communicate analysis through a variety of finished intelligence products, briefings, visualizations, and direct engagement with mission stakeholders and decision-makers.
What You Must Have
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; an equivalent combination of experience and relevant certifications or training (such as NGA-accredited coursework or equivalent) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence missions through advanced analytics, GEOINT, ABI, or intelligence analysis.
- Familiarity with advanced ABI methodologies and data-centric analytic approaches.
- Strong knowledge of NGA-specified digital data, including commercial imagery, NTM, airborne, motion and full-motion imagery, panchromatic, spectral, and SAR data.
- Experience using ArcGIS and its extensions.
- Strong knowledge of standard and non-standard NGA intelligence reporting.
- Ability to combine analytics, tools, and visualizations to enable expedited, data-driven analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with data mining and developing, maintaining, and manipulating databases to modernize analytic processes and methodologies.
- Experience conducting multi-INT research in support of mission-specific intelligence issues.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings through written products, briefings, visualizations, and direct engagement with customers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within multidisciplinary mission teams.
- Completion of a recognized GEOINT Analysis Course (e.g., NGA-accredited or service-equivalent).
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Demonstrated proficiency designing and implementing scalable processes for large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and analytical discoveries.
- Experience developing data models, automation workflows, and repeatable analytic processes.
- Experience creating visualizations, dashboards, and data products that effectively communicate complex analytical findings and support operational decision-making.
- Experience with programming languages or low-code/no-code platforms such as JEMA, Brewlytics, or ArcGIS ModelBuilder.
- Experience developing enterprise-level dashboards and data visualization solutions using modern business intelligence tools.
- Experience applying machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques to intelligence problems.
- Experience developing or improving geospatial analytic tradecraft and workflows.
