Data Entry Analyst

IDR is seeking a Data Entry Analyst to support public health initiatives by processing and maintaining hepatitis surveillance data within the national disease surveillance system in Nashville, TN.

About the role

• Support the Viral Hepatitis Program by accurately processing hepatitis surveillance data.
• Apply CDC and CSTE case definitions to identify and categorize cases.
• Perform data cleaning, manage review queues, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Coordinate with team members and other health staff to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team activities to support program goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Data entry or data systems experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical or public health terminology advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data management tools.
