Key Responsibilities
- CNC Programming
- Create accurate CNC programs using Microvellum software for cabinet and millwork production.
- Generate error-free machining files for CNC routers and related woodworking equipment.
- Produce cut sheets, machining reports, and production documentation.
- Verify CNC programs before release to production.
- Design Interpretation
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, AutoCAD files, and project documentation.
- Interpret cabinet layouts and construction details.
- Resolve inconsistencies between project documents and manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure production files match project specifications.
- Making Manufacturing Support
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and production teams.
- Support CNC operators with machining files and technical documentation.
- Recommend improvements to manufacturing workflows.
- Maintain production accuracy throughout fabrication.
- Quality Control
- Review CNC programs for accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure production documentation is complete and error-free.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
- Maintain high quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience using Microvellum software.
- Experience generating CNC programs for woodworking machinery.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes.
- Experience interpreting architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a custom cabinet or architectural millwork shop.
- Experience with luxury residential cabinetry and fitted furniture.
- Knowledge of CNC routers and woodworking equipment.
- Understanding of cabinet construction methods and joinery.
- Experience working with high-end custom millwork projects.
