Microsoft Systems Engineer

M365 engineer/admin to oversee major workloads such as Microsoft Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and other Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complex IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure seamless integration and support.
• Design and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements and enhance efficiency.
• Lead and manage IT projects, overseeing all aspects from planning to implementation.
• Provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to other IT team members.
• Conduct system audits to assess compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• Use office automation, communication software, and tools in the office environment.
• Perform other duties within scope as assigned.

Requirements

• Administration and understanding of Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Office 365 security knowledge (MFA, Microsoft 365 Defender).
• Teams calling experience (built-in voice system that turns apps into a full business phone).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar field of study.
• Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years of related experience OR 4 years of related experience if no post-secondary education.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour.
