Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics GP from legacy to latest version
- Perform environment assessment, upgrade path planning, and risk analysis
- Upgrade Windows Server (2008 R2 to 2022)
- SQL Server (2008 R2 to 2022)
- Dynamics GP (2013 to v18.8)
- Analyze, remediate, and validate custom code, integrations, and third-party add-ons
- Ensure data integrity, migration, and reconciliation during upgrade
- Develop cutover strategy, rollback plans, and validation procedures
- Support testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
- Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (2013 to 18.x versions)
- Proven experience in upgrading GP from legacy versions to latest releases
- Expertise in SQL Server upgrade/migration (2008 R2 to 2022)
- Windows Server upgrade/migration
